About Us

We are a long-established retailer based in Winton, a district of Bournemouth.  We are dedicated to good service, quality products and sound advice on many traditional sports.  We specialise in cricket, hockey, rugby and football, but also many others!  We will always deal with you fairly and promptly.  If you have any comments or queries, please e-mail us at info@sandjsports.co.uk or phone us on 01202 530615.

Making a purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier.  Just browse our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and click on 'Add to cart'.  You can then continue shopping or if you are finished, click on the 'checkout' button.  You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order.  We accept Switch, Maestro, Delta , Visa, Solo, Electron and Mastercard securely online, with 128 bit encryption.  Or, if you wish, we will happily accept your order with credit card details over the phone on 01202 530615.

Shipping and handling
Normal delivery times are between 8:30am and 5:30pm Mon-Fri local time.  All UK mainland delivery charges are included in the cost of the item, unless stated otherwise.  For deliveries to Eire, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and Highlands of Sotland we charge £10 per order.     For orders outside of the above zones we will always advise you of any additional shipping costs, depending on your destination and carrier to be used, before we process your order or collect any payment.

Delivery schedule
We acknowledge receipt of all orders by personal e-mail within a few hours of receipt.  We normally aim to dispatch your order within two working days (exc Sat - Sun & Bank holidays), but will always advise you of any possible delays when acknowledging receipt of your order.  Can we ask for your patience, please, during our busiest times of year, usually around Christmas time, and from 15 August  - 15 September when we may take 5 working days to dispatch your order - through sheer volume of orders and retail rush!  Please try to order early at Christmas and in pre-season to avoid any undue disappointment.  UK mainland deliveries are made using Royal Mail.  If you are not normally at home during the day, we are happy to deliver to a neighbour or your place of work, which you can specify with your order.  International orders do take a little longer, depending on your destination, but are normally delivered within 10 working days.

Back orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you if possible.  You will always be kept informed of the estimated delivery time for your order and given the option of a similar alternative product or to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.  If we forward your order in part(s) you will not be charged for any subsequent deliveries made in completing your order in full, except in the case of pre-order lines with delayed availability, as published in the online store.

Tax charges
For all orders placed for delivery within the UK or the European Union our prices include VAT at 17.5%.

Credit card security
All online payments are made using SafeToPay, using 128 bit encryption so you can shop online with us with complete peace of mind.

Guarantee and returns policy
We guarantee your total satisfaction.  All of our products come with a 7 day money back guarantee (extended for special dispensation over the Christmas period until 15 January).  This must be acknowledged by electronic or written communication. A PHONE CALL IS NOT SUFFICIENT.  The item must be unused and returned as new in its original packaging.  We also offer a very fair returns policy, should your goods not be the correct size or colour.  We offer either an exchange of goods or a total refund, providing the goods have not been used and are returned in their original packaging.  We regret that we cannot meet any costs of return postage, unless the goods are found to be  faulty at the time of delivery, incorrectly dispatched by us, or they are an alternative product which we have sent that you are not happy with.  With products that develop faults with use, please contact us for specific advice on action to be taken at info@sandjsports.co.uk or on 01202 530615.  To view a copy of the Distance Selling Regulations, please follow the link at the bottom of the page.
